Prefolds

the first diapers i ever got were prefolds. they come bleached, unbleached, embellished, bamboo, made simply out of receiving blankets, etc. etc. etc. These diapers are sweet and simple, rectangular in shape, and you simply place it lengthwise under baby's bum and bring it up the middle, and fasten with Snappis or pins. super easy, no fuss no muss. This needs then to be covered with a diaper wrap, cover, fleece or wool soaker, longies, etc. [will explain these terms under "wool" soon!] There are regular or toddler sizes. they can also be folded and used as inserts for pocket diapers. They are wonderfully absorbant, and basically bulletproof! An economically easy way to diaper, that's for sure!
